Charlene will provide attendees with a general review of the appointment process, highlighting key points of “Notice to Interested Persons”.
There will be focused time spent of the Inventory and Accounting process, based on the NGA’s Best Practices protocol.
Charlene (Tope) Distler founded Probate Support Specialists, llc some 12 years ago after she observed the need for public guardians. Relying on her experience in prior employment as a judge’s clerk, paralegal to a Public Administrator and finally, as the supervisor for a county run guardianship program, she felt uniquely prepared to begin an agency. Her company has thrived because of the staff’s dedication to the individuals they serve. Charlene remains committed to the continued education of public guardians and frequently presents on best practices topics.
